Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Location: Salida, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights - 6P to 6A, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description: Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Med/Surg, where you will work in a breathtaking location and provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care and swing bed patient care adhering to the highest standards of evidence-based practice.
• Evaluate health status through the collection and assessment of health data.
• Deliver health teaching and counseling to patients.
• Administer supportive and restorative therapies and treatments, directly or indirectly.
• Execute delegated medical functions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the medical record for all patient care activities.
• Collaborate with ancillary departments and physician providers to address the diverse needs of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience required.
• Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
