Position Specialty: Franklin Woods Community Hospital – Physician (AP) – #0002 Location 300 Med Tech Pkwy, Johnson City, Tennessee 37604, TN Schedule Evenings Dates Needed Start date: 2026-08-01 (or sooner) Requirements / Qualifications Annual volume: 24,000 patients Coverage model: 24 hrs physician + 22 hrs APP Hospital beds: 80 Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited 4‑year medical school (MD) or accredited osteopathic school (DO) with at least 3‑year residency training; ECFMG required for foreign graduates. Clinical Experience: New graduates accepted; EM residency graduates within past 12 months considered. License: Active unrestricted TN Medical license, DEA with TN address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5. Board Certification: Must pass board specialty exam administered by ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABP, or AOA (DO). Merit Badge: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not board certified in EM); NRP required for non‑ABEM providers. Immunizations: Documentation of MMR/Varicella (2) vaccines or titers; 2‑step TB test within past 12 months (second TB test required before privileges if needed); chest X‑ray if TB positive; TB QuantiFERON Gold result if taken within last 3 months of privilege granting. Case Log: Most recent 2‑year logs plus documentation for any special procedure training. CME/CEU: Preeclampsia‑Eclampsia CME required at application and every two years upon reappointment. Specific Facility Procedures: N/A Malpractice Coverage: $1 M per loss event / $3 M annual aggregate. Additional Duties: Supervising physician for NPs and PAs. EMR: Epic.
