Event & Catering Coordinator at Lago Custom Events
Lago Custom Events is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events & Catering Coordinator to join our passionate team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our clients by managing event planning and catering services from inception to execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Manage catering arrangements, including menu selection & upselling, dietary requirements, and service timing
- Develop detailed event timelines and checklists to ensure smooth execution
- Liaise with vendors, staff, and clients to coordinate setup, execution, and breakdown of events
- Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during events promptly and professionally
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to foster repeat business and positive referrals

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning, catering coordination, or hospitality management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and safety regulations
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
