About the Role:

As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical and mental well-being of clients through expert therapeutic massage techniques. Your primary objective will be to assess client needs and deliver personalized treatments that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote holistic health. You will work closely with clients to develop treatment plans that incorporate various modalities such as deep tissue massage, reflexology, and lymphatic drainage to optimize healing and relaxation. This role requires a compassionate and professional approach to ensure each client experiences a safe and restorative environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist in the United States.
• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in reflexology, lymphatic drainage, or aromatherapy.
• Experience working in a holistic health or wellness center.
• Additional credentials in complementary therapies such as Reiki or acupuncture.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary health team.
• Experience managing flexible schedules and client bookings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their health history, concerns, and treatment goals.
• Perform therapeutic massage sessions using techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, and aromatherapy.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on client feedback and progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and holistic health approaches to complement massage therapy.
• Manage scheduling and maintain accurate client records to ensure continuity of care.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.

Skills:

The required skills such as therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy are applied daily to address client-specific pain points and promote healing. Reflexology and lymphatic drainage techniques are used to enhance circulation and support detoxification processes, contributing to holistic health outcomes. Aromatherapy skills complement massage treatments by creating a calming environment and enhancing relaxation through essential oils.
