Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for providing outstanding customer support through phone and email communication while handling a high volume of inbound calls.
The ideal candidate will have previous call center or customer service experience, strong computer skills, and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls using a multi-line phone system.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Process orders, substitutions, pickups, and return credits.
- Assist customers with special requests and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of customer needs.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Complete additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months of customer service or call center experience.
- Experience with data entry in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of customer service, call center, or related experience.
- Experience in food service, distribution, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Recent experience in a high-volume call center environment.
- Experience using Cisco or multi-line phone systems.
Additional Information
- Full-time position.
- Monday-Friday schedule.
- Local candidates only.
- No relocation assistance available.
