Business Development Intern

Your Impact The Business Development Intern will support the identification, evaluation, and advancement of renewable energy development opportunities, including solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and fuel cell projects. This internship provides hands-on exposure to project origination, financial modeling, regulatory research, contract administration, and CRM pipeline management. This role is ideal for a college student interested in renewable energy development, energy markets, and commercial strategy. Your Role:- Maintain and update the site offer pipeline in Salesforce and generate regular reports
- Support financial modeling reviews and assist with preparing client-facing materials
- Conduct regulatory and market research, summarizing key findings for the team
- Assist with tracking and organizing lease agreements, PPAs, and sales contracts
- Perform preliminary site identification and screening for solar, BESS, and fuel cell projects
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or related field
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Interest in renewable energy development and infrastructure projects
- Direct exposure to renewable energy project development lifecycle
- Experience working with financial models and commercial contracts
- Understanding of regulatory and market dynamics in clean energy
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with development and commercial team
