Position Overview The Express Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The shop is equipped with the latest Hunter equipment and all manufacturer tools are organized and catalogued for ease of use. Compensation As part of your compensation, you are eligible for a sign‑on bonus via immediate contribution to a long‑term compensation savings account. Please speak with manager during your interview process for details. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil. Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles. Check air pressure of tires. Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants. Inject grease into units such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed‑air powered grease gun when available. Add water to radiator and battery. Replace oil and air filters. Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed. Complete thorough MPI inspection and record findings to service advisor. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or automotive technical school. Good judgment.
