Senior Manager, Corporate Development

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities Develop and present corporate and portfolio strategy recommendations in close collaboration with R&D, operations, finance, commercial, and executive leadership. Support program-level decision-making through strategic framing and rigorous analysis. Assess inbound and outbound partnering opportunities and lead diligence efforts. Develop and recommend potential deal structures, including key business and financial terms. Drive negotiations of term sheets and definitive agreements in collaboration with senior leadership, legal, finance, and other internal stakeholders. Coordinate with leadership and project teams to manage existing alliances and drive productive partner relationships. Contribute to development of investor-facing materials and messaging, including around key corporate milestones and conferences. Qualifications/Skills Passionate about science, medicine, and business and intellectually curious. Advanced degree, such as an MBA, PhD, MD, or JD, strongly preferred. Typically 4+ years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, corporate development, business development, or biopharma strategy roles. Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive multiple high-priority initiatives in an intense, fast-paced environment. Highly collaborative, with experience building trust across cross-functional teams. Strong business instincts and ability to think strategically and analytically. Fluency in financial modeling, business analytics, and basic valuation methodologies. Facility with the language of science. Strong executive presence and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Salary Range Salary Range: $151,000.00 to $196,000.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
