Finance & Accounting Associate

Responsibilities Responsibilities Include: Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoicing, payment processing, and 1099 reporting Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reclassifications Administer firm expense policies using Ramp Reconcile bank and trust (IOLTA/COLTAF) accounts Prepare schedules and documentation for the annual external audit Handle tax compliance, including payroll tax filings, state withholding registrations, and other state filing obligations Support payroll processing and assist with year-end reporting Maintain financial records and process documentation Work with attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership on financial matters as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 1–2+ years of experience in an accounting role Strong working knowledge of GAAP (income tax basis of accounting is a plus) Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort picking up new tools Excellent attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA-track Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems Experience with Ramp or similar expense management systems Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/reporting tools Background in a law firm or professional services environment Salary and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $70,000–$85,000. Compensation also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
