This position serves a critical role at Nyhart, taking responsibility for the relationship and overall service we provide to clients. This is a remote position.ResponsibilitiesProvide expertise and consulting with the design, management, administration, and communication of retirement plans for our client base of private, public, and church plansOversee and review both recurring (such as funding valuations, government filings, benefit calculations, etc.) and non-recurring (such as plan design, assumption studies, plan de-risking, plan termination, etc.) client projectsServe as primary contact and relationship manager to clients, responsible for the retention and growth of client relationshipsHelp to identify and develop new business through excellent customer service, networking with other professionals, and being active in related organizationsThe Consultant will also be instrumental in the growth and development of Actuarial Analysts.Serve as technical expert and promote sound actuarial practicesProvide direction and training, including assigning, directing, and evaluating workEncourage a collaborate team environment that values knowledge and idea sharingSkills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related field10+ years pension-related consulting experienceASA/EA required, FSA preferredProven client management skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with ProVal preferredSuperior analytical abilityStrong presentation skillsBe aware of employment fraud.
