As a Senior Program Manager – Product Manufacturing & Obsolescence, you will lead enterprise efforts to proactively manage component lifecycle risk across complex Bills of Material—ensuring the organization can build, deliver, and scale with confidence in a dynamic supply environment. In this highly visible role, you’ll turn data into insight and insight into action—driving decisions that protect product availability and operational stability. You’ll partner across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to build a forward-looking, scalable approach to lifecycle risk—staying ahead of disruption rather than reacting to it. What Success Looks Like in This Role Manufacturing continuity is protected: Disruptions from obsolescence are anticipated and minimized Visibility drives action: Clear, real-time insight into BOM-level risk informs decisions across teams Decisions are aligned and data-driven: Stakeholders operate from a shared view of priorities and trade-offs Mitigation is proactive: Risks are addressed early, ahead of supplier or market changes Data is trusted and becomes a strategic asset: Master data and lifecycle intelligence are accurate, governed, and actionable Leadership confidence is strong: Executives rely on your insight, structure, and judgment Programs scale with the business: Processes and governance evolve with growing complexity You’re a strategic partner: Recognized as the go-to leader bridging engineering, data, and operations Location: Somerset, NJ or Horsham, PAWork Arrangement: Hybrid preferred; remote considered for exceptional candidates Responsibilities Program Leadership & Risk Ownership Own end-to-end program execution for obsolescence and lifecycle risk management across complex, high-mix product portfolios Establish and maintain BOM-level visibility into lifecycle risk, ensuring manufacturing continuity and build plan protection Translate lifecycle intelligence and supplier signals into clear, actionable mitigation strategies Drive prioritization frameworks that align risk, business impact, and execution timelines Cross-Functional Orchestration Lead alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality to execute mitigation strategies Partner with Engineering to evaluate and qualify alternate components and drive design resilience Serve as the escalation point for critical manufacturability, lifecycle, and data integrity risks Influence decision-making at both operational and executive levels Master Data & Lifecycle Intelligence Leadership Lead and develop a team of data analysts to transform raw product and supplier data into high-quality, intelligent SAP master data Drive creation, validation, and continuous improvement of material master and BOM data to support lifecycle and manufacturing decisions Establish scalable processes and standards to convert disparate data into actionable lifecycle intelligence within SAP Ensure accuracy, completeness, and governance of BOMs, material masters, and OEM/supplier data Integrate lifecycle intelligence into decision-making through tools, supplier insights, and cross-functional alignment Partner with IT and business stakeholders to enhance data models, governance, and automation Champion data standards and scalable operating models across teams Risk Governance & Execution Establish and manage structured processes for identifying, tracking, and resolving obsolescence risks Ensure clear documentation and communication of risk exposure, mitigation plans, and decision outcomes Lead development and review of enterprise-level risk and obsolescence reporting Communication, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Deliver executive-ready dashboards, KPIs, and program updates that drive transparency and alignment Highlight key risks, dependencies, and blockers requiring leadership action Build a predictable governance cadence that enables proactive decision-making Continuously improve processes, tools, and insights to elevate program maturity Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field At least 12 years of experience in program management, manufacturing operations, product lifecycle management, or supply chain risk Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Program Leadership: Proven success leading complex, cross-functional programs in data-driven environments Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of: BOM structures and material master data Product lifecycle and obsolescence management Engineering change and manufacturing processes Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to translate technical and data insights into clear, actionable business decisions Strategic & Forward-Thinking: Anticipates risk, connects data across systems, and shapes proactive strategies Executive Communication: Communicates clearly and influences stakeholders at all levels Collaboration & Influence: Builds alignment across diverse, cross-functional teams Problem Solving: Navigates ambiguity with a structured, solutions-oriented approach Operational Excellence: Drives rigor, consistency, and continuous improvement Ownership & Resilience: Takes initiative and delivers results in fast-paced environments Additional Strengths Preferred: Experience in electronics, electromechanical, or regulated industries Familiarity with ERP systems, lifecycle intelligence platforms, and MDM tools PMP or equivalent certification Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations Salary and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $151,787 - $192,264, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
