If you enjoy solving problems and building relationships in a dynamic, industrial environment, **we want to meet you!**An **Inside Sales Associate** will partner with our customers to provide industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and other essential supplies. You will serve as a trusted guide, **advising customers** on the tools, hardware, and materials needed to successfully complete their projects. By demonstrating equipment use and sharing insights on product quality, you **help our customers** pioneer new solutions in their own work. .* **Provides excellent customer service** to both internal and external partners, fostering understanding and long-term relationships.* **Ensures** all required paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.* **Partners with customers** to identify the best tools and procedures for their specific tasks; demonstrates equipment use to build customer confidence.* **Manages order entry and processes transactions**; assists the team with the reconciliation of deposits.* **Coordinates** via phone, e-mail, and in person with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery.* **Contributes** to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch.* **Coordinates the transfer of merchandise** between locations to meet customer needs.* **Maintains a positive work atmosphere** by acting and communicating in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues.* **Stocks shelves and maintains** welcoming showroom displays to provide an excellent customer experience.* **Coordinate cylinder movement and pallet organization*** **Responsible for adherence to company policies** including safety and the use of personal protective equipment to ensure a secure environment for everyone.* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.* Minimum two (2) years of customer service and/or sales experience.* Proficiency in Microsoft/Google applications.* Ability to accurately handle cash transactions.* Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs. and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.* Adherence to Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, and procedures applicable to this position’s responsibilities.Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products; and a leading U.S. supplier of ammonia products and process chemicals.
