What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors contractors and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and visitor authorization maintain entry logs and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents access-control concerns alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues through established communication channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings access points parking areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents observations and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
