DescriptionSAIC is seeking Logistics Associate to provide support for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs in Middletown, RI.Job Duties:Responsible for supporting MILSTRP procurements and property management at NAVSTA Newport.Responsible for managing the process, workflow, and maintaining the inventory of government owned material at a Naval Undersea Warfare Center facility on the Navy base. Responsible for writing government site specific material management and control processes, policies, and procedures; manage, control, track, and inventory government material at the government facility, including understanding of MMAS requirements; work with IT and facility management to develop software/digital solutions to efficiently manage government inventory; lead and document material cycle counts, and internal inventory audits.QualificationsRequirements: Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years of experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.Must already possess a SECRET government clearanceMS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and WordDetail oriented and organizedQuick learner and proactiveAbility to manage logistical issuesDesired:DoD ExperienceProcurement ExperienceAbility to work with databasesJob Field: LogisticsTravel: No
