Human Resources Manager, Multi Site Compensation: $90k - $100k pending experience and skill set. Join our dynamic team! ETHOS is seeking a dedicated Field Human Resources Manager to provide invaluable support to three of our veterinary hospitals across Tacoma, WA and the Seattle Metropolitan area. Locations Summit Veterinary Referral Center – Tacoma, WA Animal Medical Center of Seattle – Shoreline, WA Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine – Bothell, WA This position is in-person at our Tacoma, WA hospital and will assume responsibility for the AMCS and CBEAM sites with onsite travel monthly. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as a key liaison between staff and management, providing guidance on company policies, practices, and regulations. Offer expert advice on employee relations issues, including coaching, feedback, and progressive discipline. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including USCIS Form I-9 verification, ADA accommodations, FMLA/FAMLI leave administration, and other relevant regulations. Assist with ADA/FMLA/FAMLI Requests: Serve as local point of contact for employees and leaders regarding leave-related questions, provide guidance on the leave process, and partner with the Center of Excellence (COE) to support timely communication and documentation. Onboarding & Training: Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring timely and effective integration of new employees. Conduct new employee orientation and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to support employee growth and engagement. HR Strategy & Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Hospital Director and management team to develop and administer HR programs, procedures, and guidelines that align the workforce with the hospital’s strategic goals and Ethos Veterinary Health’s mission. Culture & Engagement: Partner with Hospital Leadership to develop and implement employee engagement activities and culture initiatives. Plan and execute staff appreciation events, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment. Qualifications Minimum five years progressive experience in Human Resources positions. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; veterinary experience is desirable. ABachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development, or related field preferred. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification preferred. Proactive problem solver with ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks. Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, employment laws and experience in employee relations, ADA, and FMLA. Experience developing training programs and other HR initiatives. Empathetic leader with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Flexibility in scheduling to support 24/7 operations as needed. Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to present to groups effectively. Ability to travel as needed within the Tacoma/Seattle Metropolitan area.
