Primary Mental Health Outpatient Program We are launching a brand-new primary mental health outpatient therapy program in California and are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to help establish and grow our presence in the market. We offer virtual services across the state of CA and on-site outpatient services in Orange County. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-connected behavioral health professional who understands the California landscape, has an established referral network, and wants to play a key role in the growth of a new program. About the Role Business Development Representative – Behavioral Health California | Primary Mental Health Outpatient Program Responsibilities Develop and grow referral relationships throughout the California behavioral health market Build partnerships with therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, treatment providers, healthcare professionals, and other community referral sources Leverage existing B2B and organic relationships to generate qualified referrals Represent the program at networking events, conferences, and community meetings Conduct outreach and presentations to prospective referral partners Maintain a strong pipeline while tracking outreach activity, referrals, and market opportunities Collaborate with admissions, clinical, and leadership teams to support census growth and market expansion Qualifications Proven track record of generating referrals and growing census within the California market Established behavioral health referral relationships throughout California Strong understanding of the primary mental health and outpatient treatment landscape Excellent relationship-building, communication, and networking skills Self-motivated and comfortable developing a territory with significant growth potential Required Skills Referral generation and census growth Relationship-building Communication Networking Territory development Preferred Skills Well-connected behavioral health professional with an established referral network in California Entrepreneurial approach to business development Experience building referral networks in California behavioral health Why Join Us?
