Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will support the Global Consolidations & Intercompany team by driving process improvements, supporting global financial consolidations, and assisting with financial systems governance and automation initiatives. This role will serve as a key cross-functional partner across accounting, finance, and systems teams, while becoming a subject matter expert in master data governance, foreign exchange analysis, entity structure management, and consolidation processes within Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

The ideal candidate is analytical, process-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple concurrent priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support governance, maintenance, and cleanup of master data across financial systems
• Perform monthly financial consolidations using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
• Ensure SOX compliance related to consolidation activities and financial reporting processes
• Analyze the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations on P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with implementation and enhancement of master data governance applications
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and systems teams to drive automation and process improvement initiatives
• Support entity mergers, dissolutions, and functional currency changes
• Assist with financial systems integrations related to acquisitions and organizational changes
• Help optimize and streamline month-end close processes
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates effectively to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years of experience in:
  • Financial consolidations
  • Master data governance
  • International accounting
• Experience working with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud products such as:
  • EDMCS
  • FCCS
• Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades
• Oracle R12 experience
• Big 4, consulting, or multinational audit experience
• CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA
• Experience driving process improvements and automation initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional projects simultaneously
