The Town of Sharon seeks a full-time (40 hours/week, M-F 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) Equipment Operator for the Department of Public Works' Forestry & Grounds Division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Manual labor and operation of various equipment and vehicles for landscaping and maintenance of the Town's parks, trees, athletic fields, and grounds. Mandatory overtime required during snow removal from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks.Qualifications and Experience:High School DiplomaMassachusetts Class B Commercial Driver's LicenseCORI check and mandatory drug testing upon hireStarting Salary Range: $55,048 – $56,178 with generous benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts and retirement plans.
