Plan and conduct practices, workouts, and game preparation. Develop student‑athletes both athletically and academically. Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and character development. Supervise assistant coaches and coordinate responsibilities within the program. Ensure compliance with all district, conference, and MSHSAA rules and regulations. Monitor student‑athlete academic progress and eligibility requirements. Communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, staff, and community members. Coordinate scheduling, transportation, equipment, uniforms, and facility usage with the athletic department. Maintain inventory and proper care of equipment and facilities. Attend required meetings, clinics, and professional development opportunities. Assist with offseason development, camps, youth programs, and program promotion. Ensure the safety and well‑being of student‑athletes at all times. Represent the school and athletic department in a professional manner.
