This includes assisting customers in selecting the right wash package, offering additional services through effective upselling techniques, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The associate is expected to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while addressing any customer inquiries and needs promptly.In addition to customer service, the associate plays a vital role in maintaining and operating the car wash. This includes performing routine cleaning and maintenance of the wash equipment, monitoring the car wash system for any issues, and troubleshooting minor malfunctions in the automatic car wash system. Strong communication skills and a basic understanding of car wash operations and equipment are essential for success in this role. The position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who is dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of the car wash while delivering top-tier customer service. Living our brand is a critical component of all our roles.Below is a general outline of some of the roles and responsibilities expected of our Express Car Team Members (this list is not all inclusive):Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with wash package selections, and addressing inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.Upsell and signup customers for additional services and products including car wash subscriptions, premium wash upgrades, and car care items.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car wash tunnel and outside areas, ensuring all equipment, customer areas, and restrooms are tidy and operational.Monitor the operation of the automatic car wash system, performing basic troubleshooting and identifying potential malfunctions or issues.Perform routine maintenance on car wash equipment, such as checking fluid levels and cleaning components, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.Resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely manner, escalating more complex problems to management when necessary.Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe environment for both customers and team members.Additional duties as required by the Team Leader to support store operationsRequirements and Qualifications:Must be able to work a flexible schedule as neededCommunicate verbally and in writing with various management on car wash operations in a quick timeline, especially if there are any changes or items that may adversely affect the store's operationsAbility to read, understand, and write in the English languagePerform basic math including proper calculation of change, etc.Ability to be on time and fulfill all scheduled shifts as required by the company's attendance policiesCan lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb ladders as neededAbility to remain calm and respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures defined by company guidelinesTolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning productsAbility to work in various environments, including in harsh weather conditionsUniforms will be provided and always worn while on the clockEmployee Incentives:Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuelEmployees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuelEmployees that are with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuelMAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEKAdditional Info:Must be 18+ years old to workOther duties as assignedSchedule may fluctuate based on business need or weather conditionsDisclaimer: The list of requirements, duties, and responsibilities listed above is by no means a complete list.
