Medical front desk receptionist-MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 LOCATIONS-ARLINGTON, GERMANTOWN, TN AND OLIVE BRANCH, MS.

We’re looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and who understands the value of compassionate service. The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking, but the ideal candidate will know when to slow down, look patients in the eye and provide personalized service with a smile.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs yourself.

Greet patients upon arrival to the office and provide any intake, new patients forms that might be needed.

Check in patients upon arrival, create the patient chart, update chart information. Collect co-pay or deductible amount or account balance.

Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician(s) and Nurse availability.

Process medical record request.

Enter notes and information into EMR system.

·Assist practice Office Manager as required and requested.

·Provide exemplary patient service.

Provide office support services so as to ensure efficiency

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Highly skilled in greeting patients

· Pleasing and cooperative personality

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task

· Able to maintain an organized reception area and waiting room.

· Facilitate and manage general office flow

· Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance

· Knowledge of internet, Word, Excel, Outlook

· Professionalism

· Must be a team player

· High school diploma/GED Required (Associate degree or some college preferred)

· Minimum 1+ years’ experience in healthcare, reception or custom facing role

· Previous experience in medical office preferred'
