Stockroom Operations / Material Handling (2nd Shift)

divh2Job Title/h2pResponsibilities:/pulliPerform a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with receiving operations, shipping, inventory control, stockroom, in accordance with established procedures./liliUtilize a variety of material handling/packaging equipment - Identify correct parts, components, wires and other materials by part markings, color codes, container labels, etc./liliUtilize desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, other work instructions to complete tasks - Perform bulk counting utilizing scales and tape reel counters/liliFill orders per bill of material (BOM) requirements/liliPackage parts in proper packaging material/liliFollow proper material handling and packaging techniques to avoid damage/liliFollow proper procedures for storing, shelving, and placing inventory/liliUtilize computer systems and printers (e.g. recording inventory transactions, generate labels, labor charging)/liliAssist in generating Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reject tags/liliConduct cycle counts and record results - Support customer service window and process basic material requisitions/liliTrack materials (physical and systems) - Unpack, verify condition of material, count receive incoming materials; elevate resolve discrepancies with assistance/liliPackage ship materials per shipping instructions/liliLoad unload trucks, utilizing appropriate lifting equipment as needed - Receive materials/liliDistribute material to internal plant locations/liliBuild break down boxes/liliCollect and properly dispose of materials/liliMaintain appropriate levels of packaging supplies; replenish as needed/liliRecognize take steps to resolve inventory discrepancies/work area issues/liliMaintain accurate records of all work performed (e.g. cycle counts, labor charging)/liliTrain other employees perform other duties as assigned/liliWear static-control and personal protective equipment./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliMinimum of 2 years directly related experience/liliGood reading math skills; good computer skills/liliDemonstrated ability to read follow written/verbal instructions/liliUse basic measuring instruments/liliEffectively communicate and interact with others/liliHandle multiple tasks at the same time, access use computer systems (e.g. email, work instructions, attendance)./li/ulpEducation:/pulliHigh School Diploma or Equivalent e.g. GED required/li/ulpWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, ADD, tuition reimbursement, and more.
