Audio Visual Technician (part‑time, contingent) St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for two part‑time positions of Audio Visual Technician (part‑time, contingent). These positions report to the Director of Instructional Systems and Support and are responsible for audio visual support for events, and also provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support of the operations of technologies and media in classrooms. Location: Historic St. Mary's City, Maryland. Part‑time, approximately 30 hours per week. Hourly pay: $35 (depending on qualifications and experience). Responsibilities: Provide audio‑visual support for events. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support of classroom technologies and media. Handle confidential and sensitive issues. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in a media‑related or IT field. Working knowledge of both Mac and PC operating systems and classroom media. Strong verbal, written, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
