Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Coordinate with surgical team members and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functional.
• Monitor patient conditions during surgical procedures and intervene as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Current valid CA state registered nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room or similar environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with orthopedic surgeries, including total joints, and robotic surgery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
