Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Charlotte is looking for an experienced Lead Bartender to oversee our bar operations while helping create one of Charlotte's most unique social destinations.

What You'll Do

As our Lead Bartender, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the bar, ensuring every guest enjoys exceptional service while leading and developing a high-performing team.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service and an outstanding guest experience.
• Create and maintain innovative seasonal cocktail menus and beverage offerings.
• Recruit, train, coach, and inspire bartenders and barbacks to deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Manage inventory, ordering, stocking, and cost controls while minimizing waste.
• Maintain compliance with all alcohol service, health, and safety regulations.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and create positive experiences that keep customers coming back.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar environment.
• Partner with resort leadership to develop promotions, events, and beverage programs that drive sales and guest engagement.
• Monitor bar performance, analyze key metrics, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Lead Bartender, Head Bartender, or in a bar leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and craft cocktails.
• A proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering, and beverage costs.
• Comfortable working with POS systems and technology.
