International Sales Support Specialist

SUMMARY

The International Sales Support Specialist provides administrative, technical, customer service, and business development support for CMF Global's international sales efforts. This role works closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing, international distributors, contractors, consultants, and internal departments to support sales growth, improve customer experience, coordinate project activities, and strengthen CMF Global's international market presence.

The position is designed to support and enhance international sales activities, allowing senior sales personnel to focus on business development, relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives.

Role Description the International Sales Support Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting global sales activities and customer accounts. This role assists with coordinating international orders, documentation, and shipping logistics to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. The specialist responds to customer inquiries, prepares quotations, maintains sales records, and supports export financing processes in collaboration with internal teams. Daily tasks include communicating with international clients, distributors, and partners, tracking order status, and resolving issues related to products, pricing, and delivery. The role also involves collaborating with sales and operations teams to improve processes, support bid and proposal preparation, and contribute to a positive customer experience across international markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following are essential duties and responsibilities of the position; this list is not exhaustive and may include other tasks as assigned:

International Sales Support

• Support international distributors, contractors, consultants, and customers with sales-related activities and inquiries.
• Assist with the preparation, coordination, and delivery of international quotations and project proposals.
• Coordinate with the Quotes and Estimating Team to ensure quotations are accurate, complete, and delivered on a timely basis.
• Track outstanding quotations, project opportunities, and lead follow-up and communication activities.
• Maintain accurate project, customer, and opportunity information within company systems.
• Assist in identifying and qualifying international sales opportunities.

Customer and Distributor Support

• Build and maintain positive relationships with international distributors, consultants, contractors, and end users.
• Support distributor development initiatives and customer engagement activities.
• Assist customers with product information, technical documentation, and application support.
• Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments to ensure timely responses and resolution of issues.
• Support efforts to improve customer satisfaction and overall customer experience.

Training and Technical Coordination

• Coordinate AquaFuse training programs, scheduling, and related customer communications.
• Assist with training preparation, documentation, and logistics.
• Coordinate with Technical Sales Managers and Trainers to support customer training requirements.
• Assist customers and internal teams in identifying technical concerns and coordinating appropriate resources for resolution.

Market Development and Relationship Building

• Support relationship development with irrigation consultants, contractors, distributors, golf course owners, and other industry influencers.
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, customer visits, and distributor meetings as assigned.
• Assist with specification development efforts by supporting consultant and influencer relationships.
• Research and identify potential international market opportunities.

Marketing and Business Support

• Collect and provide project photos, customer success stories, field observations, and market feedback to the Marketing Team.
• Assist with product launch support, promotional activities, and customer communications.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive information, and customer feedback to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced customer support.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, and Technical teams to support project execution.
• Assist with order fulfillment communication and customer updates.
• Support international shipping and logistics coordination as needed.
• Complete all required company training, certifications, and compliance activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, Agronomy, Turf Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

· Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE

· 3 to 7 years of experience in golf irrigation, HDPE piping, water infrastructure, drainage systems, construction products, or related industries preferred.

· Experience supporting customers, distributors, contractors, consultants, or project-based sales activities preferred.

· Experience with quotations, project coordination, customer service, technical support, or sales support functions preferred.

· International business, export sales, or distributor support experience preferred.

Industry & Business Experience

• Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, construction supply, irrigation, waterworks, agricultural, industrial, or wholesale environment.
• Experience supporting operations involving inventory, logistics, purchasing, shipping, and customer order processing.
• Familiarity with project-based sales, contractor accounts, municipal customers, golf course construction, or infrastructure-related industries.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Basic understanding of irrigation systems, HDPE piping products, fittings, valves, and related infrastructure products preferred.

· Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experience with ERP, CRM, and project management systems such as SAP Business One, Monday.com, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.

· Understanding of international shipping, export documentation, and distributor support models is a plus.

· Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

· Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency preferred.

· Experience working in a fast-paced small-to-medium-sized business environment.
