Make a real impact in the school community as a Physical Therapist supporting students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This full-time, contract-based position near Yonkers, NY, focuses on helping young learners enhance their motor skills and achieve their developmental milestones in both individual and small group settings.

Your dedication will help students overcome challenges and foster independence in the classroom, on the playground, and beyond. Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to ensure each child’s needs are met through tailored interventions.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Proficiency developing and implementing IEP-related PT goals
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, other therapists, and families
• Compassion for and commitment to working with school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and design individualized plans for K-5 students
• Deliver direct physical therapy in both one-on-one and small group formats
• Document progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers and recommend adaptive equipment or classroom strategies as needed
• Support positive student outcomes and foster inclusion throughout the school environment
