Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/20/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract POSITION DETAILS Position: Registered Nurse – CVICU Facility: NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital Location: Glenview, IL Unit: CVICU Start Date: 09/20/2026 End Date: 11/15/2026 Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Days – 12 Hours Schedule: 3x12s Weekend: Every Other Weekend On-Call: No PAY PACKAGE Travel: Weekly Gross: $2,853 Weekly Taxable: $648 Weekly Non-Taxable: $2,205 Local: $70/hr POSITION DETAILS 3 years of recent CVICU experience required Every other weekend required 8 hours of non-billable orientation May float to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU, or Highland Park ICU as needed Epic experience required EKG test required with a passing score of 80% or above GB Campus is primarily cardiovascular-focused REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Experience with: Dysrhythmia interpretation and management Multi-system organ failure CABG and post-cardiac surgery care Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Impella Pre/Post Cardiac Cath and interventions Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan-Ganz monitoring Valve replacement/repair LVAD/RVAD CVVHD/CRRT Arterial and central line management PICC line management and IV therapy Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration Continuous IV sedation and neuromuscular blockade CVA/acute stroke management Ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP and HFNC management ABG interpretation Blood product administration Infection prevention and isolation precautions LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS Active Illinois RN License CPR ACLS NIHSS Epic experience About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
