What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology consults and therapies in a hospital setting
• Perform upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and advanced procedures like ERCP and stent placement
• Manage GI-related patient cases, including biopsies, hemostasis, and foreign body removal
• Respond to emergency consultations during scheduled response times
• Document procedures accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with support staff and multidisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and build lasting provider-patient relationships

What You Need

• Valid Kentucky medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology
• Experience performing procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and other GI interventions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to respond to after-hours calls (1-2 times per week)
