Position Description: Receiving Clerk

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full time

DiCarlo Distributors, Inc. is a family owned foodservice distributor that has been serving customers since 1963. We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments
• Verify products and quantities against receiving documents
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items
• Enter receiving information accurately into the inventory system
• Label and direct products to the appropriate storage areas
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation
• Communicate with warehouse staff, purchasing, and vendors to resolve discrepancies Assist with inventory counts, audits, and related office duties
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
• Cross train in inventory and other operations office functions as needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Previous receiving, inventory, warehouse, or clerical experience is preferred
• Safety shoes are required
