Production Assistant (Bindery/Delivery)

The Production Assistant is responsible for taking the output from the offset or digital presses and performing all required finishing operations. They are responsible for setting up and operating all standard bindery equipment such as folders, cutters, booklet making, punches, drills and scoring machines. In addition, they are also responsible for the routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating those machines. This position requires lifting full cartons of paper. Attention to detail is essential as is adherence to all standard operating practices. All employees are expected to demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality product to the customer in a timely manner. This position also requires delivering orders and/or materials to our other stores and to customers as well as picking up finished products from vendors. Therefore, the successful applicant must have a drivers license and a clean driving record. This position could possibly open up in the Bethlehem store. #J-18808-Ljbffr Minuteman Press
