Sewing Machine Operator
We're hiring a Sewing Machine Operator to assemble garments using industrial sewing machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specifications and safety protocols in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce or repair garments
- Follow sewing patterns, templates, and production instructions
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform basic machine maintenance, threading, and troubleshooting
- Maintain clean work areas and follow safety guidelines
- Meet daily production goals while ensuring consistent quality
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience using industrial sewing machines
- Ability to read and follow patterns or sewing instructions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with different fabrics and stitching techniques
- Able to sit for long periods and meet production quotas
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Average Pay Rate: $17 – $19 / Hour
