• Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to follow directions from lead technicians and supervisors.

Why Work Here?

You join a growing organization that offers clear upward mobility and rewards skill development rather than seniority. Once you transition to a permanent role, the company invests in your professional growth by paying for valve technician certifications and providing a raise for each certification you earn. This structure allows you to increase your earnings and responsibilities in a relatively short time, without waiting many years for advancement. You benefit from a culture that values hard work, mechanical aptitude, and continuous learning, providing a long-term career path in the pump and valve service industry.

Work Environment

You work primarily in a shop environment where you will get dirty and handle hands-on mechanical tasks. The role also requires travel to industrial power plants, mainly in regions such as Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, where you work in loud, dirty, and highly industrial settings. You spend time in a valve shop as well as in the field during outages and maintenance periods. Work hours are flexible, with typical days running from approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and extended 12-hour shifts during outages. Some weekend on-call work is required. The environment is physically demanding, focused on practical mechanical work, and requires appropriate work attire suitable for dirty industrial and shop conditions.
