Senior Accounting Manager

Hybrid position with 3+ days REMOTE per week Our client is seeking to hire someone looking to to take an exciting next step in their career. As the SR Accounting Manager, you will manage process not people and drive real impact within the business. This isn't your standard, back-office accounting opportunity - it's highly visible and offers tremendous growth potential. This position will oversee the day-to-day accounting for a small/mid-size business and repiort directly to the CFO.  They prefer someone who is either tired of public accounting and looking for a change OR someone who has public accounting experience in their background (CPA prefered but not required). Responsibilities

• Manager of processes, not people
• Manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, and Payroll.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Prepare and publish consolidated and entity-level financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
• Manage treasury and daily cash flow forecasting.
• Analyze operating and financial results, track KPIs, and deliver actionable insights on key variance drivers.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Prepare periodic financial presentation decks for executive leadership.
• Evaluate current accounting systems, workflows, and controls; design and implement scalable process improvements across functional areas.
• Maintain and enhance internal control safeguards to protect company assets and ensure compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
