We are working with a very successful national Hospice company searching for a Clinical Director for the Parsippany, NJ area.
Ideal candidate for the Clinical Director position is clinically strong in hospice care, an effective team leader, and possesses a solid knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards.
Patient care is a priority and this hospice also utilizes several unique alternative therapies in conjunction with their quality of care. This successful company is a premier provider of end-of-life care and offers a generous salary and great benefits.
Must be a registered nurse.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.
- Develops, implements and evaluates the orientation program for new organization personnel.
- Conduct annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.
- Overseas the maintenance of patent clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purpose of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
- Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
Required Skills:
- Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of NJ
- 3+ years of management experience, with at least five years of experience in home health or hospice.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university.
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working condition.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and Joint Commission Standards.
