Who You Will Be Working With

A New York State government agency dedicated to administering health insurance programs and protecting consumer information through secure and compliant public services.

Major Duties

• Review PDF documents containing consumer appeal decisions before they are published online.
• Verify that all Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including names, dates of birth, addresses, and other sensitive information, has been completely redacted.
• Identify and correct any missed or incomplete redactions using PDF editing tools.
• Process assigned batches of documents stored in a shared electronic folder.
• Maintain exceptional accuracy while meeting productivity expectations.
• Handle confidential information in accordance with established privacy and security standards.

What Are We Looking For?

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading and quality review skills.
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and work accurately with high volumes of documents.
• Comfortable working independently in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience working with PDF documents.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, document review, records management, legal support, administrative support, or data verification is a plus.

Exciting Opportunity Details

• Rate: $18.50 per hour.
• Length of engagement: 1 year with the possibility of extension.
• Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Location: Albany, NY 12211.
