Join the City of Novi as a Mechanical Inspector Salary: $80,017.63 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The City of Novi (population 60,000+) is looking for a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our respected team of professionals who help keep our community safe, efficient, and thriving. In this role, you'll perform inspections and plan reviews of mechanical-and plumbing, if qualified-installations to ensure compliance with building codes, ordinances, and regulations. You'll work directly with contractors, builders, and residents to make sure every project meets the high standards that Novi is known for. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Michigan driver's license Minimum 10 years of field experience Registered Mechanical Inspector(Act 407) and Plan Reviewer with the State of Michigan Plumbing credentials preferred This position is part of the Michigan Association of Public Employees (MAPE) .
