SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT-DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Job Duties
Help
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- Serves as senior accountant in support of the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives with responsibility to ensure process and procedural compliance in accordance with Federal generally accepted accounting principles for AFMC and its Centers.
- Oversees AFMC organizational priorities and accounting activities to ensure compliance with DOD FIAR plan.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with senior military and civilian managers, supervisors and technical staff assigned to Air Force staff, OSD, AFMC Directorates and Centers.
- As senior accountant, conducts technical studies and analyses of potential problems or areas of concern.
