Position OverviewThe Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to develop future leaders within our sales organization. This hands-on opportunity provides valuable experience in sales leadership, customer relationship management, business development, and team leadership while preparing you for advancement into management roles.
What You'll DoSales & Customer Development- Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers and key customer accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
- Convert competitor business and expand existing accounts
- Negotiate pricing and prepare sales agreements
- Ensure accounts are maintained according to company policies and standards
- Gain hands-on experience managing projects and priorities
- Analyze business challenges and implement effective solutions
- Participate in ongoing leadership and professional development training
- Assist with team development, coaching, and performance management
- Learn all aspects of sales and operational leadership
- Partner with multiple departments to achieve business goals
- Represent Pepsi MidAmerica professionally within the community
- Build strong working relationships with customers and fellow team members
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
