Clinical Manager

The Clinical Manager I is responsible for the overall direction, oversight, coordination, and evaluation of Clinical Site including Ultrasound Department, Diagnostic X-ray Department, CT/MRI Department, Mammography Department. Responsibilities Consults on work in progress and completed work to assure accuracy. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates. Participates in the quality assurance program to conform to federal, state, local, and hospital regulations and guidelines. Works effectively with co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, patients, physicians and other external contacts. Supervises Radiology Technologists, Technical Assistants, Technical Support and Administrative Support employees. Assigns, schedules, and related staff to maintain patient flow, achieve production goals, and conform to established protocols and procedures. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances. Responds to patient complaints. Coordinates purchase of supplies and equipment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
