RN Clinical Manager

Credentials Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing Current RN license specific to the state(s) of assignment One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice One year of RN management experience Current CPR certification Compensation Salary range: $95,000 to $109,000, depending on home health experience Benefits Choice of PPO or HSA medical plans with free telehealth Paid time off Up to $1,000 in free healthcare services with Amedisys HSA plan Up to $500 in wellness rewards for activities such as spa, gym, sports, hobbies, pets, and more Mental health support with up to five free counseling sessions through the Employee Assistance Program 401(k) with company match Family support, including infertility treatment coverage, adoption reimbursement, paid parental leave, and family caregiver leave Fleet vehicle program (restrictions apply) and mileage reimbursement Benefit eligibility may vary by position and shift status; enrollment in an Amedisys medical plan is required for participation Responsibilities Recommend employment decisions for staff to the Director of Operations, including hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or status changes Ensure overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides Organize clinical operations for the care center Review service requests and determine patient eligibility and suitability for home care services; coordinate referrals and admissions with intake Oversee scheduling and payor verification/precertification requirements Review and resolve documentation issues with staff members to ensure completeness and timeliness Assist clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals and developing plans of care (POC) Regularly evaluate patient needs and revise care plans in collaboration with clinicians Provide direct patient care on an infrequent basis during emergencies Participate in the on‑call process Assist with staff training to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility Investigate and resolve patient, family, or physician concerns Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing Current RN license specific to the state(s) of assignment One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice One year of RN management experience Current CPR certification Amedisys is an equal opportunity employer.
