Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a paraprofessional or similar student support role within school settings
- Background in administrative assistance is highly desired
- Strong communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and administration
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for students with varying needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Special Education Director to assist with routine administrative and educational tasks
- Support special education classrooms, helping facilitate learning and student engagement
- Manage materials, schedules, and logistics for meetings and daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as directed
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and student families as needed
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans and classroom accommodations
