The Accounts Payable Data Entry Specialist supports a high-volume transportation finance department by accurately entering, maintaining, and validating carrier and freight-related information in company systems. Responsibilities

• Enter carrier and freight information into company systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain and update accounts payable and freight records to ensure information remains current and complete.
• Validate data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
• Support Accounts Payable processes and documentation by ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
• Resolve data discrepancies as assigned, collaborating with internal stakeholders when necessary.
• Meet established productivity and accuracy goals in a high-volume environment.
• Follow structured procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in all data entry tasks.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the transportation finance department by reliably completing assigned work on time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a corporate or professional office setting is beneficial.
• Exposure to Accounts Payable or finance operations is preferred but not required.
• Interest in developing a career in corporate accounting or finance.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite in a professional office setting. The role operates within a structured, process-driven finance environment that supports a high volume of transportation-related transactions. Team members use standard office technology, including computers and Microsoft Excel, to complete data entry and validation tasks. The work involves consistent, repetitive responsibilities that require focus, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures, offering clear expectations and a stable day-to-day routine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
