Make a meaningful impact providing essential psychological services to students in an educational setting near Manor, TX. This contract position seeks a dedicated School Psychologist who is passionate about supporting academic and emotional success for all students. If you are bilingual in Spanish, your expertise will be especially valued in serving a diverse community. This is an onsite role, available full-time with part-time options if needed, and offers the chance to collaborate within a supportive educational team environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or similar setting
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling for K-12 students
- Excellent communication abilities for diverse student and staff populations
- Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support positive behavioral interventions and strategies within the school
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Engage in regular communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals to foster student well-being
