Registered Nurse Acute Medical Telemetry Part Time.

Overview Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Telemetry unit. This part‑time daytime (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) position includes rotating weekends. Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 may be available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care. Monitor and document vital signs, observe changes, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions. Use clinical judgment to address complex health situations and consult with the medical team as needed. Document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science (MSN) preferred. Current Registered Nurse license (or students in the process of obtaining one). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
