Position Details

• Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Starting at $20 - $25 per hour, and is based on experience and licensure
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Thursday-Sunday, with a mix of General Practice and Urgent Care

Sterling Pointe Veterinary Clinic / SPV Urgent Care is seeking an energetic, team-oriented, experienced, or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated staff. What Our Veterinary Technicians Do:

• As a Veterinary Technician, you'll be a critical part of our medical team, ensuring every patient receives compassionate, high-quality care. You'll:
• Provide skilled support during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and emergency care.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia and sedation under DVM direction.
• Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and assist with extractions.
• Collect and process diagnostic samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology, etc.).
• Manage inpatient care, including IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and medication administration.
• Educate clients about treatments, medications, and home care.
• Maintain surgical suites, medical equipment, and hospital inventory.
• Mentor veterinary assistants and newer technicians, sharing your skills and experience.
• Support the front desk as needed to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
