Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety and care.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Days (Tuesday - Friday)
Shift Length: 10 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Perform general radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging procedures.
Assist with outpatient and inpatient imaging services.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment including C-arms and O-arms in the operating room.
Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
Document all imaging studies in the electronic medical record (EMR) and Radiology Information System (RIS).
Participate in rotating assignments across various imaging areas as required.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Certifications: Current ARRT and BLS certifications are required.
Licensure: Valid Washington state radiologic license at the time of application.
Required Skills: Proficiency in operating O-arms, C-arms, and general radiographic equipment. ER experience is preferred.

Department Information

Department comprises 10 x-ray rooms and 34 OR rooms.
Department utilizes Philips DR and CR systems, along with GE DR portable machines.
Document imaging studies using Cerner Power Chart, GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS.

Additional Notes

Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on department needs.
Scrubs will be provided for work in the operating room; casual attire is acceptable for arrival and departure.
Orientation will be provided to familiarize new staff with department protocols and procedures.
