What You'll Do

As an Air Duct Cleaning Technician, you'll perform professional HVAC and duct cleaning services while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Inspect residential and commercial HVAC systems prior to cleaning
• Load and maintain company vehicles with equipment, tools, and supplies
• Protect customer property by properly preparing work areas
• Clean air ducts, supply and return vents, registers, and HVAC components using specialized equipment
• Clean related HVAC components including blower fans, evaporator coils, drain pans, and filters when applicable
• Identify damaged ductwork, airflow restrictions, or HVAC concerns and communicate findings to supervisors
• Document work performed through photos and service reports
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operating safely
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and warehouse area
• Follow SERVPRO safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
• Deliver outstanding customer service while educating customers about the cleaning process
• Complete final cleanup and leave every job site in excellent condition
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory as needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and committed to doing quality work.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment requirements
• HVAC, duct cleaning, restoration, construction, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred—but not required
• Willingness to learn specialized equipment and cleaning techniques
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Leadership experience is a plus and offers opportunities for advancement

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Climb ladders and work from elevated heights
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, ceilings, and confined areas
• Frequently bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and carry equipment
• Safely operate power tools and specialized duct cleaning equipment
• Work around dust, debris, cleaning agents, and HVAC systems while wearing required PPE
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions throughout the year
