Research Intergrity Specialist

Research Integrity Specialist Eagle Global Scientific, LLC is seeking a Research Integrity Specialist to support a client’s research integrity and misconduct (RIM) program, to provide day-to-day subject matter expert support for RIM operations, education, and institutional inspections. The Research Integrity Specialist carries the recurring operational work of the RIM program, which develops, interprets, and implements policies to foster a culture of ethical research practices in research conducted or supported by the customer. The role covers the RIM group email inbox, weekly monitoring of RIM activity across the agency, materials and correspondence for institutional visits and inspections, performance metrics, and recurring written products such as review checklists, newsletters, and FAQs, consulting with government personnel throughout. Essential Position Functions Support day-to-day operations of the program. Monitor the RIM group email inbox, provide timely responses to emails, and consult with government personnel. Monitor RIM activity across the agency on a weekly basis using established RIM program tools (ex: PubPeer, etc.). Support planning, agenda formulation, and preparation of materials for use during institutional visits, to include any educational presentations. Support preparation of inspection correspondence and preparation of the report findings. Draft review checklists for inspections and investigations. Calculate, compile and submit metrics for performance measures, and assess processes for improvement for effectiveness and efficiency of metrics. Prepare RIM briefing slides and formally coordinate official memoranda through a correspondence and task management system. Draft newsletters. Develop and maintain a list of FAQs and answers. Other duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree. Two (2) or more years of experience in research compliance, research integrity, a Human Research Protections Program (HRPP) or Institutional Review Board (IRB), or research administration. Working knowledge of research integrity and misconduct (RIM). Preferred Experience & Certifications Experience or certifications with the following are a plus: Familiarity with research integrity regulations, including 45 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 689 and 42 CFR 93, and publication integrity resources such as PubPeer. Experience supporting compliance audits, site visits, or inspections, including checklists, correspondence, or findings reports. Experience compiling program metrics and preparing briefing slides for government review. Experience producing program communications such as newsletters, FAQs, web content, and routine correspondence. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
