Tourism Coordinator

Essential Functions:

Tourism Marketing & Operations Act as a liaison and touchpoint between all shoppers, visitors, tourism partners, Center vendors and Prudential Center Management. Assist Tourism Manager with outreach to area tourism and hospitality professionals, attending industry events and meetings as needed. Assist with the execution and implementation of retail/office/tourism related marketing, events, promotions, and social media communications as delegated by the Marketing Department. Review and respond to customer inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, retailers and service partners as needed. Monitor and manage online business listings, responding to customer reviews and questions and escalating operational concerns to the appropriate teams. Plan and execute assigned tourism events and programs, marketing programs, including project schedules, vendors, contracts and agreements, budgets, staffing, marketing assets, retailer participation, day-of logistics and post event recaps. Own the maintenance, accuracy and optimization of the Prudential Center website, including managing website analytics and preparing quarterly performance reports. Coordinate with Prudential Center Management, Property Management, retailers, vendors, service providers and other partners to ensure assigned initiatives are delivered effectively and in alignment with Center objectives. Develop creative concepts for marketing/tourism advertising campaigns and coordinate the design and production of marketing materials in partnership with Graphic Design team. Maintain assigned projects, deadlines, agreements, budgets and financial requirements within the team’s work-management system. Manage Concierge Desk media wall and retail digital signage, including scheduling, uploading of advertisements, and working with BXP IS team in troubleshooting technical issues. Oversee production and inventory of tourism and concierge marketing materials distributed via digital signage brochure panels and at the Concierge Desk. Support Prudential Center Garage marketing initiatives, including promotional materials, paid advertising, digital content, signage and wayfinding. Provide staffing assistance for Prudential Center public and office client-related events. Retailer Initiatives Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers, coordinating programs, promotions and marketing opportunities that highlight retailer offerings and increase participation in Prudential Center initiatives. Support retailer communications and engagement initiatives, retailer meetings and assigned promotional opportunities. Develop turnkey retailer participation materials for assigned events and initiatives and maintain accurate tracking of commitments, deliverables and results.

Requirements and Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required. A minimum of 2 years of marketing, hospitality, tourism or retail experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Proficiency in business use of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities and tasks. Flexibility with work schedules such as work on nights and weekends is required.

Physical Requirements: Involves work of a general office nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer, fax or printer. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Involves work such as tours and onsite event execution throughout property portfolio usually performed by standing, walking, and by climbing stairs. Involves movement between departments to facilitate work.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Tourism Manager, who provides daily supervision and guidance, and coordinates, evaluates and monitors work performance on a periodic basis. Internal and External Contacts: Regularly interfaces both verbally and in writing, with tenant contacts, with the leasing, construction, development and financial teams as well as external vendors, construction professionals, consultants, and with the public. Salary Range: $60,000 - $82,500. BXP offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary and annual discretionary bonus.
